Interesting Fact # 679 - Air Pressure

For every one millibar decrease in pressure the sea rises 1cm.

(If the UK faces strong winds, extremely low pressure and a storm surge during the high tide, it could raise the sea level around eastern England by more than 2m. Which means that towns and villages in north Norfolk, plus King's Lynn in west Norfolk, are considered to be at risk from tidal flooding.)

That really is NOT that much help at all. I went to about 30 other websites and got about 60 more facts than I did on here!!! Your should put more facts on here like most of the other facts and then POSSIBLY your website could be one of the top 5 websites for air pressure or something but that was not much help. You should really consider putting a lot more facts on or your website is pretty much going to be down the toilet. You are lucky that even I found this website. It was really hard to find even this!
