14th May 2014 is Donate a Day's Wages to Charity Day (no use me doing that then - one day I'll be able to pay myself). It's also Mark Zuckerberg's 30th birthday, but his salary is only $1.60 per year. It's also Chicken Dance day. You can decide which, if any to celebrate.  

According to research published this week in the journal, Biology Letters, women are most attracted to male dancers who have big, flamboyant moves. (The research found that there were similarities between animal mating rituals and what happens in modern dance clubs. So, John Travolta was onto something.)

Frankie Laine set a marathon dance record of 3501 hours in 145 consecutive days in 1932. (I'll bet he'd never dance with his wife though.)
