Elena N Bodnar, Raphael C Lee, and Sandra Marijan invented a bra that can be quickly converted into a pair of gas masks. (The cups can be separated from each other and placed over the mouth and nose, the bra strap can be then be used to keep it on your head. It's so good, it won the inventors an Ignoble award in 2009, and you can buy one, it's called an E-Bra, which is short for emergency bra.)

A leading Israeli plastic surgeon has invented a new bra. (Nothing revolutionary you might think, but this one is placed under the skin; it used fine straps or "threads" that are attached to the ribs between the breast and the shoulder with a pair of titanium screws. Eeew!)
