An advert filmed to promote a Welsh University was filmed in England. (The ad was supposed to show the actor Ioan Gruffudd, walking across the Brecon Beacons, but the location had to be changed to the Mendip Hills because of - rain.

Rainfall soothes the atmosphere, and calms storms. (According to atmospheric scientists at  the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in Boulder, Colorado,  a substantial portion of the energy that drives wind and air circulation in the atmosphere is dissipated as friction by raindrops falling through the air.   I can't say I fully understand the math and science behind this, but it will make me moan less when it's raining.)

The umbrella was invented to block the sun, not the rain. (It is also called a parasol, brolly, rainshade, sunshade, gamp or bumbershoot. The last one should be pronounced very carefully.)
