Interesting Fact - Tea
The earliest authenticated record of commercial cultivation of tea can be found in 4th century Chinese documents. (But it was considered a medicinal drink. Actually infusing tea leaves in a teapot only became a widespread practice in China early during the Ming dynasty (1368-1644).)
